Pulp & Paper industry

The Challenge

Dimartech regularly fabricates storage tanks for an international company providing pulp and paper mills with highly specialized centrifugal pumps and agitators/mixers. These standpipes (or drop legs) help maintain a steady level of pulp stock to the chute.

The standard for these standpipes is a fabrication in Stainless Steel at a height of 15 ft. by a diameter of 3 ft. However, in reality, no two standpipes are the same since they must be customized for the end-user’s process. That can mean fabricating them in custom sizes, from other materials, or with custom nozzles.
